RK UNIVERSITY | LIFE @RKU – 1st Review: RK University (RKU) is a private University located in Rajkot, Gujarat, India. Established in 2005 and had been working as RK Group of Colleges and later turned into RK University the first state private university in Saurashtra region act by a gazetted notification dated on 12 Oct 2011. RK University offers degrees in engineering, pharmacy, physiotherapy, ayurvedic, and management studies. It’s over 6000 students. The campus offers a hostel facility for nearly 1500 students. It’s two campuses one is that the City campus located in Rajkot City another one is that the main campus located on the Bhavanagar highway nearby Tramba.

It is a world culture & sports festival that happens on the RKU campus primarily organized by the SOAC(Student Organization Advisory Council), all kinds of sports activities, literary events, gaming competitions, music, and dance competitions, cultural parade, pro shows a variety of the quality attractions of it.

Foundation Day:

RK University celebrates its foundation day each year in October. except these two main events, RK University celebrates techno-cultural and physio-cultural events once a year.

Placement Experience:

The university provides internship facilities to its students. The university has a well-established placement cell. The placement cell arranges mock interviews, group discussions, pre-placement talks, aptitude tests, and technical interviews by which they make students ready for the upcoming challenges. Many multinational companies like TCS, Wipro, Infosys, INDUSIND Bank, Flipkart, and Amazon come to our university for campus recruitment. More than 80 percent of the students got recruited in the campus interview.

The junior students can approach the cell if they are looking for internships and the cell organizes a job fest every year where thy invite top notch companies to come and offer jobs to the students. The companies approaching the college for recruitment were pretty good. They offered good packages to the students and even internships for the juniors. The placement cell is quite efficient and methodical.

International Students @RKU:

RK University welcomes foreign students from everywhere the globe for admission into its different courses and programs. Quite 400 plus students from different countries like Afghanistan, Nepal, Ethiopia, Bangladesh, Nigeria, Bhutan, and Sri Lanka are into several programs.
